Top best Business, VIP transport or executive jets for corporate professionals.
By Amarendra Bhushan for CEOWORLD Magazine Updated:November 19, 2009
Since the stock market started falling, the business jet industry may be struggling at the moment, but the next decade looks promising.
Traveling by a private jet has many benefits, foremost among which is the fact that you are the masters of your time. Unlike commercial flights, the time schedule is determined by you, so the time you depart and the time of arrival is the precise time you have to reach your destination.
Business jets are also known as private jet, colloquially, bizjet, corporate jet, executive jet or VIP transport.
List of Top best Business or executive jet for VIP transport
Airbus A319CJ
The Airbus Corporate Jetliner, or A319CJ, is a long range corporate jet development of the A319 airliner which competes directly with the Boeing Business Jet and dedicated long range corporate jets such as the Bombardier Global Express and Gulfstream V.
Unlike the Boeing Business Jet, which combines the 737-700’s airframe with the 737-800’s strengthened wing and undercarriage, the A319CJ is designed to be a minimum change development of the A319. This means, according to Airbus, that the A319CJ can be easily converted to an airliner, thus increasing the aircraft’s potential resale value.

The Columbus had a target range of 4,000 nmi (7,408 km) with 8 passengers. Cessna had announced partnerships with Spirit AeroSystems for the fuselage, Pratt & Whitney Canada for PW810C turbofan engines, and Rockwell Collins for avionics.

They’ve taken off and landed approximately 1 million times. And every day, their average duration in the air is the highest in the entire Citation fleet. Clearly, the X has earned its distinction as one of business aviation’s busiest, best and all-time favorite aircraft.

Citation CJ1
It’s the latest iteration of the aircraft that forever changed the way the marketplace looks at business-jet ownership. And it comes with more than a few important enhancements. Performance has been significantly improved. So has fuel efficiency. The avionics are more advanced. The interior, newly styled. All this and more is delivered at a price that makes it an even better value than the aircraft it replaces. Introducing the all-new, better-than-ever CJ1+.
Citation CJ2
The CJ2+ also climbs more quickly, cruises faster and ranges farther than its predecessor. Yet, remarkably, it uses less fuel. The CJ2+ also delivers enhanced passenger and pilot comfort and more advanced avionics. And it can take off and land on shorter runways, even in high-hot conditions. Yes, it’s exhilarating to fly. But the CJ2+ is also the sensible, single-pilot-certified business jet for you and your business.
Citation CJ3
CJ3 began with everything that made the series a phenomenal favorite, then took the concept higher, farther and faster than ever before. And in a big way. Prepare yourself for a larger aircraft, more powerful engines, longer wings, a more spacious interior, added standard features, and the category’s most advanced flight deck, ever.
Citation CJ4
The new CJ4 takes all the things you’ve come to know and love about the CJ family and elevates them to entirely new levels. The Cessna engineers who created the CJ4 did so with the benefit of insights from all the CJ owners, operators and pilots who have given us firsthand feedback over the years. Guidance from operators of existing CJs proved to be invaluable when it came time to build an even better one. The CJ4 is brimming with bold ideas, subtle flourishes and smart, usable technological advancements that make it, without a doubt, the most advanced CJ ever. And one of the most advanced Citations ever.
Citation Encore
There’s a reason the Encore+ has been called the finest light jet ever built. Quite a few reasons, in fact. As its name suggests, the Encore+ has added even more of what operators loved about the original. Pilot operation has been simplified thanks to a new Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 flight deck. And the original Encore’s 17-foot-plus cabin (5.28 m), one of the longest in its class, has been newly designed. Add greater range and increased performance to the equation and you get an aircraft that continues to distance itself even further beyond the competition.

Ample cabin-class seating, true jet speed and a good half-continent of range come together with a price tag that’s almost a million dollars lower than that of any comparable aircraft. And above all, it’s a Cessna.
