As of 19 March 2024, Warren Buffett has a net worth of US$135.0 billion, making him the wealthiest person in the finance and investments industry. Michael Bloomberg follows in second place with $106.2 billion, Stephen Schwarzman ranks third with $38.6 billion, and Ken Griffin comes in fourth with $36.4 billion.

The fifth and sixth spots on the list are occupied by Thomas Peterffy, whose net worth is $33.9 billion, and Changpeng Zhao, whose net worth is $33 billion. Jim Simons is placed 7th with a net worth of $31.4 billion. Masayoshi Son ($31.1 billion) occupied the 8th position among the wealthiest people in the finance and investments industry, followed by Abigail Johnson (No. 9) with $29 billion and Jeff Yass (No. 10, $27.6 billion).
