As of March 8, 2024, Shell is the most valuable company in the United Kingdom, with a market cap of $205 billion. Following it are AstraZeneca ($200 billion) and HSBC Holdings ($146 billion). The United Kingdom’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: Unilever (No. 4, $123 billion) and Rio Tinto (No. 5, $111 billion). Overall, among the top 10 largest companies by market capitalization in the United Kingdom, the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth positions are held by BP, GSK Plc, Diageo, Relx PLC, and British American Tobacco.
