As of 19 March 2024, Thomas Frist Jr has a net worth of US$25.9 billion, making him the wealthiest person in the healthcare industry. Dilip Shanghvi follows in second place with $25.9 billion, while Cyrus Poonawalla ranks third with $21.5 billion, and Li Xiting comes in fourth with $15.1 billion.

The fifth and sixth spots on the list are occupied by Jiang Rensheng, whose net worth is $11.2 billion, and Ernesto Bertarelli, whose net worth is $11.1 billion. Carl Cook is placed 7th with a net worth of $10.6 billion. Sun Piaoyang ($9.9 billion) occupied the 8th position among the wealthiest people in healthcare, followed by Andreas Struengmann (No. 9) with $9.8 billion and Thomas Struengmann (No. 10, $9.8 billion).
