As of March 8, 2024, KWEICHOW MOUTAI is the most valuable company in China, with a market cap of $293 billion. Following it are CHINA MERCHANTS BANK ($109 billion) and CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX TECHNOLOGY ($100 billion). China’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: PING AN INSURANCE (GROUP) COMPANY OF CHINA (No. 4, $95.88 billion) and CHINA YANGTZE POWER CO (No. 5, $87.91 billion).

Overall, among China’s top 10 largest companies by market capitalization, the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth positions are held by WULIANGYE YIBIN CO, MIDEA GROUP CO., LTD, FOXCONN INDUSTRIAL INTERNET CO., LTD., SHENZHEN MINDRAY BIO-MEDICAL ELECTRONICS CO, and INDUSTRIAL BANK CO.
