As of March 5, 2024, PETROBRAS is the most valuable company in Brazil, with a market cap of $107 billion. Following it are ITAÚ UNIBANCO HOLDING ($62.69 billion) and VALE S.A. ($58.08 billion). Brazil’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: AMBEV S.A. (No. 4, $39.57 billion) and BANCO BTG PACTUAL S.A. (No. 5, $38.03 billion).

Overall, among Brazil’s largest companies by market capitalization, the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth positions are held by BANCO DO BRASIL S.A., WEG S.A., BANCO BRADESCO S.A., ITAÚSA S.A.
