As of March 12, 2024, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited is the most valuable company in Taiwan, with a market cap of $647 billion. Following it are Mediatek ($62.36 billion) and Hon Hai Precision Industry ($46.35 billion). Taiwan’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: FUBON FINANCIAL HOLDING (No. 4, $32.21 billion) and CHUNGHWA TELECOM CO., LTD. (No. 5, $29.77 billion).

Overall, among Taiwan’s top 10 largest companies by market capitalization, the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth positions are held by QUANTA COMPUTER INC, DELTA ELECTRONICS, ASE TECHNOLOGY HOLDING CO., LTD., FORMOSA PETROCHEMICAL CORPORATION, and CATHAY FINANCIAL HOLDING.
