As of March 10, 2024,  EDP – ENERGIAS DE PORTUGAL is the most valuable company in Portugal, with a market cap of $17.3 billion. Following it are EDP RENOVÁVEIS ($15.87 billion) and JERÓNIMO MARTINS ($13.84 billion). Portugal’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: GALP ENERGIA (No. 4, $12.24 billion) and BANCO COMERCIAL PORTUGUÊS (No. 5, $4.38 billion).

Overall, among Portugal’s largest companies by market capitalization, the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth positions are held by THE NAVIGATOR COMPANY, NOS, SONAE – SGPS, MOTA-ENGIL.
