As of March 5, 2024, ECOPETROL is the most valuable company in Colombia, with a market cap of $23.37 billion. Following it are BANCOLOMBIA ($7.97 billion) and GRUPO NUTRESA ($5.42 billion). Colombia’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: GRUPO ENERGÍA BOGOTÁ (No. 4, $5.23 billion) and INTERCONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA (No. 5, $5.74 billion).

Overall, among Colombia’s largest companies by market capitalization, the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth positions are held by GRUPO DE INVERSIONES SURAMERICANA, BANCO DE BOGOTÁ, GRUPO ARGOS S.A., and GRUPO AVAL ACCIONES Y VALORES.
