A Review on VentureWire Technology Showcase 2008!
By Amarendra Bhushan for CEOWORLD Magazine Updated:November 17, 2008
VentureWire Technology Showcase 2008
Start-ups are consistently at the forefront of technology innovation, but the road to adoption and profit is not easy. For this reason, firms that invest in, acquire or partner with start-ups exhaustingly evaluate companies’ likelihood of success before getting involved.
To take some of the leg work out of this process, the readers and editors of VentureWire have voted for the start-ups they view as the most innovative and promising in the tech industry today. After compiling their votes, only the top selections were invited to present at the Dow Jones VentureWire Technology Showcase.
The Technology Showcase not only features 75 top U.S. start-ups, vetted by your peers and the VentureWire editors, but also showcases 50 European start-ups looking to expand in the U.S.
That’s 125 of the tech industry’s leading U.S. and European start-ups all in Redwood City this November!
In addition to presentations from start-ups CEOs, top analysts, corporate players and venture capitalists will also be on hand to share their perspectives on key topics, including:
- Where the IT industry is heading in 2009
- Which breakthrough technologies are driving adoption
- How corporations are working with start-ups and what they’re looking for in acquisition targets
- The outlok for the IPO and M&A markets and what start-ups should be doing to prepare themselves for a liquidity event
- And more!
For additional details, check out the agenda and the start-up presenters already confirmed.
