If you could have christmas dinner at you home with any celebrity in the world, who would it be?

It’s that time of year again- time to plan your Christmas dinner party. If you could have christmas dinner with any celebrity, who would it be? This is aside from your friends, Boyfriend/Girlfriend and family. It’s an age old question that can say a lot about who you are. But it gave me lots to think about, to start the ball rolling – Here’s the list of my invitees:
Queen Elizabeth
Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary) is the queen of sixteen independent sovereign states, as well as acting as Head of the Commonwealth, and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.
The Pope
The successor of John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI was elected leader of the Roman Catholic Church April 19, 2005. e was ordained in 1951 and received a doctorate in theology at the University of Munich in 1953. Thereafter he pursued a career as a theologian and teacher at various universities. During the Second Vatican Council (1962 – 65) he served as an expert adviser and an advocate of reform. In 1977 he was appointed archbishop of Munich; three months later he was made a cardinal. As prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith from 1981 to 2005, he enforced doctrinal uniformity in the church and served as a close adviser of Pope John Paul II.
Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is the spiritual and temporal Leader of the Tibetan people. He was born on July 6, 1935, in a small village called Taktser, in north eastern Tibet. The Dalai Lamas are the manifestations of the Buddha of Compassion who chose to take rebirth for the purpose of serving other human beings. Dalai Lama means Ocean of Wisdom. Tibetans normally refer to His Holiness as Yeshe Norbu, the Wish-fulfilling Gem or simply Kundun, meaning The Presence.
Bill Gates
Bill Gates is one of the most influential people in the world. He is cofounder of one of the most recognized brands in the computer industry with nearly every desk top computer using at least one software program from Microsoft. According to the Forbes magazine, Bill Gates is the richest man in the world and has held the number one position for many years.
Bill Gates started studying at Harvard University in 1973 where he spent time with Paul Allen. Gates and Allen worked on a version of the programming language BASIC, that was the basis for the MITS Altair (the first microcomputer available). He did not go on to graduate from Harvard University as he left in his junior year to start what was to become the largest computer software company in the world; Microsoft Corporation.
Ratan Naval Tata
Ratan N Tata has been chairman of Tata Sons, the Tata promoter company, since 1991. He is also chairman of other Tata companies, including Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Power, Tata Tea, Tata Chemicals, Indian Hotels and Tata Teleservices.
Barack Obama
Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the United States. His story is the American story — values from the heartland, a middle-class upbringing in a strong family, hard work and education as the means of getting ahead, and the conviction that a life so blessed should be lived in service to others.
Warren Buffett
Warren Buffett was born in Nebraska, Omaha USA on the 30th of August in 1930. He is one of the worlds richest men, with a fortune that is only surpassed by Bill Gates of Microsoft fame. He is considered one of the most successful investors of all time and has picked up the nickname of the “Oracle of Omaha”.
Hu Jintao
China president Hu Jintao, born in December 1942, Han nationality, a native of Jixi, Anhui Province. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1964 and began to work in July 1965. He graduated from the Water Conservancy Engineering Department of Tsinghua University where he had majored in the study of hub hydropower stations. With a university education, he holds the title as an engineer.
He is now general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, vice- chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China.
Vladimir Putin
Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of Russia, was born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) on October 7, 1952. His mother, Maria Ivanovna Putina, was a factory worker and his father, Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin, was conscripted into the Soviet Navy, where he served in the submarine fleet in the early 1930s. In 1970, Vladimir graduated from preparatory school and enrolled in the Leningrad University. There, he majored in studies of civil law, while also continuing his practice of martial arts. In 1974, he was the city’s judo champion and graduated in 1975 with honors.
Sonia Gandhi
Born into a family of modest means in an Italian village on the banks of a river 57 years ago, Sonia Maino, now Sonia Gandhi, has weaved a dramatic way to a place in history by becoming the President of India’s century-old Congress party. In 2004, after serving as president of India’s Congress Party, she was called upon by members of Parliament to take up the reins of prime minister. Gandhi shocked the nation, and the world, when she declined.
Nicolas Sarkozy
Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France, was born in Paris 52 years ago, of a French mother and a father who chose to immigrate to France when his country, Hungary, was invaded by the communist Soviet Union. Nicolas Sarkozy was elected President of France in 2007, taking office on 16 May 2007. Sarkozy heads the Union Pour un Mouvement Populaire (“Union for a Popular Movement,” or UMP) and is known as a high-energy, blunt-talking conservative whose favorite issues include immigration reform, jobs, law and order, and French national identity.
Alfredo James Pacino
One of the greatest actors in all of film history, Al Pacino established himself during one of film’s greatest decades, the 70s, and has become an enduring and iconic figure in the world of American movies. In his personal life, Pacino is one of Hollywood’s most enduring and notorious bachelors, having never been married. He has a daughter Julie Marie with acting teacher Jan Tarrant, and a new set of twins with long-time girlfriend Beverly D’Angelo. His romantic history includes a long-time romance with Godfather co-star Diane Keaton. With his intense and gritty performances, Pacino was an original in the acting profession.
Madonna
The Queen of Pop has quite possibly achieved more success as an international pop icon than any other female of all time. Madonna became a legendary pop diva in the 1980s with her music, and has five Grammy Awards and a legendary number of album sales under her belt. She is renowned for her sexually explicit and sometimes vulgar blonde bombshell persona, her unique music videos, and for using controversial themes and images in her work, combining politics, religion, and aggressive sexuality.
Michael Bloomberg
Michael Bloomberg succeeded Rudy Giuliani as mayor of New York City in 2002. Bloomberg graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1964 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, then earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1966. He was a general partner at Salomon Brothers when he was let go in 1981 (after a merger), and that same year he founded Innovative Market Systems (later Bloomberg LP).
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey came from a humble background to become one of America’s most influential women. Winfrey has amassed a great fortune through her media and publishing interests and uses her fame and wealth to positively influence the lives of people in need.
Born Orpah (after a character from the Bible) Winfrey on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi – USA, but now goes by the name of Oprah. At a young age Winfrey’s parents separated and sent her to live with grandparents in very poor surroundings until the age of 6 when she moved to live with her mother. She was consequently se-xually mol-ested by male relatives at a young age and endured the hardship up until she was 14 when Winfrey moved to live with her father in Nashville Tennessee.
