The 10 richest billionaires gained nearly $8 billion dollars in January

Despite growing political and economic uncertainty, the world’s top ten richest people on the rich list index added $52.9 billion to their fortunes in the month of January 2020, according to the rating Bloomberg Billionaires Index. In January, the world’s top 10 richest billionaires gained nearly US$8 billion dollars. Larry Page, led the world’s top 10 rich list with $2.08 billion gain.

His fortune of $70.6 billion ranks him 1th in the richest billionaires in the world list, between Amancio Ortega ($72.8 billion) and Sergey Brin ($68.4 billion). Sergey Brin added $2 billion in January. Steve Ballmer became richer by $1.38 billion in the month of January 2020.

Suffered losses in January: Jeff Bezos lost of $235 million in the month of January 2020. Warren Buffett, the 4th richest man in the world have lost $233 million.
