The Pacific island nation of Vanuatu offers one of the most affordable citizenship-through-investment programs in the world. Vanuatu also attracts business investors and high net worth individuals who want to obtain citizenship with a friendly tax system. Vanuatu citizenship is a desirable option for those seeking to increase their global mobility with visa-free access to over 125 countries worldwide and lower tax burdens.

Vanuatuan passport holders are permitted to stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period in a Schengen country and up to six months per annum in the United Kingdom.

The government doesn’t charge taxes on income, capital gains, inheritance, wealth, capital exports, and profit from exchange activities. Under Vanuatu’s citizenship-through-investment scheme, successful applicants can become citizens within a matter of months, and there’s no requirement to reside in the country or even set foot on Vanuatu soil at all. Vanuatu’s passports allow the holders to travel visa-free to 129 countries, including the EU Schengen zone, UK, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and most Commonwealth countries.
