Top 4 most popular vacation choices for 2022

People all around the world are ready to travel again for leisure. Over the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictive measures traveling was not an easy process. Nowadays, most of the restrictive measures do not apply, so people are keen to travel again and can’t wait to visit their favorite places.

There are four types of vacation that are in high demand and are expected to be difficult for travelers in 2022 to find available if they want to choose one of them.

  1. African Safari Tours
Of course, a safari trip to Africa is quite expensive and one needs to have several days at his disposal to be able to enjoy the scenery. The positive thing is that after so much time without traveling due to Covid-19 restrictions, travelers have more savings and better mood for spending more than usual for their holidays. Tourists choose to visit East Africa from June to October.

During this time of the year are able to enjoy the spectacular view of the migration of the group, while many others extend their journey to safari or gorilla trekking. If interested to travel to Africa, you should know that the early booking of the vacation –even more than a year from the departure date – is needed.

  2. Visiting Hawaii
There is a great demand for summer vacations in Hawaii this summer. According to estimates of companies engaged in renting properties, most of the hotels in Hawaii will be fully booked and won’t have any free rooms. However, there are two regions, O’ahu and Hanalei which still have some free rooms for tourists to stay in.

At the same time, because many of the restrictive measures due to the pandemic are no longer valid on the island, the occupancy of the accommodation is expected to increase significantly, as well as the prices. Visitors from the US will not need to show their vaccination certificates or undergo a virus detection test before traveling to the island.

  3. Agrotourism alternatives
Many travelers who do not want to travel to other countries, choose destinations within their country and more specifically places with agrotourism accommodation. Countries such as Germany, Spain and France are considered developed in agrotourism with organized farms in the countryside. Travelers who choose this type of vacation, can participate in agricultural activities, play sports in nature, visit monasteries, archeological sites, and traditional settlements and be informed about the flora and fauna of the area. Due to the pandemic, agrotourism gained many followers since nowadays people prefer spending their holidays at the nature, far from crowded places.
  4. Renting private yachts
Some travelers when they decide to travel they prefer renting a private yacht. The truth is that due to Covid-19 restrictions yacht rentals decreased in recent years. Nowadays, according to official data yacht rentals tend to reach the pre-pandemic levels. For example, yacht rentals in Spain have already risen to 80%.

Most travelers want to have their vacation in the Mediterranean. The global yacht rental market, is valued at $ 26.9 billion in 2021. However, is set to reach $ 26.5 billion by 2027, with Europe being the top holiday destination, according to Mordor Intelligence.
