Gautam Adani Re-enters the $100 Billion Net Worth club
Gautam Adani has re-entered the exclusive $100 billion net worth club, marking his return after nearly a year’s absence. The Indian tycoon saw his net worth soar by around $269,8 million in a single day, propelling him back into the prestigious club.
Adani now stands alongside Mukesh Ambani, who recently joined this elite group. Gautam Adani’s net worth is approximately $100.7 billion, the highest since the Hindenburg report. Adani now ranks as the world’s 12th wealthiest individual, just below Mukesh Ambani.
Adani Enterprises Ltd.’s recent earnings report revealed a staggering 130% surge in profit, leading to an eight-day rally in the company’s shares.
Notably, while Mukesh Ambani’s wealth reached a new peak earlier this month, Adani’s is still about below its 2022 zenith. After experiencing an over $80 billion plunge following the Hindenburg report, Adani and his conglomerate diligently worked to restore investor confidence and repay debts. A significant boost came when the Supreme Court of India provided relief from investigations into the group after the Hindenburg controversy. After enduring a substantial wealth loss last year, Adani has rebounded with a remarkable $16.4 billion gain, marking one of the most significant advances among the world’s wealthiest individuals.
