Aaron Scott Succeeds Retiring Ray Hennessy as DB Schenker UK & Ireland CEO

DB Schenker has appointed Aaron Scott as the new CEO for its UK & Ireland cluster, succeeding Ray Hennessy, who is retiring after eight years in the role. Reporting to Helmut Schweighofer, CEO of Region Europe, Scott is determined to uphold DB Schenker’s values of pushing limits and elevating customer experiences to set new industry standards.

Scott, who joined the company in 2021 and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Contract Logistics for Region Europe, brings over 28 years of experience in international logistics and 3PL supply chain operations to his new position.

With a diverse background that includes living and working in multiple countries, including the Netherlands, the USA, and Germany, Scott has a proven track record of leading operational and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth. In his new role, he is committed to ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining the cluster’s culture of passion, energy, and customer-centric focus.

Scott emphasized the importance of maintaining focus on taking their customers further by delivering the highest standards of quality and service. He noted that their ongoing efforts to modernize practices and adapt to evolving customer needs are guided by their commitment to excellence and innovation, highlighting the significance of their team’s expertise within the business.
