As of January 04, 2024, David Thomson was the wealthiest person in Canada, with an estimated net worth of 60.4 billion U.S. dollars, followed by  Changpeng Zhao  (No. 2, $15.0 billion), David Cheriton (No. 3, $12.2 billion); Jim Pattison and (No. 4, $9.9 billion).

Anthony Von Mandl is the fifth-richest person in Canada, with a whopping $9.2 billion. Alain Bouchard ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $7.6 billion, followed by Joseph Tsai with $7.4 billion. Chip Wilson is placed 8th with a net worth of $6.9 billion. Tobi Lutke ($6.4 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in Canada.
