Lundin Mining Appoints Jack Lundin to the role of CEO
Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX: LUN) (Nasdaq Stockholm: LUMI) has provided an update on its CEO transition plan, sharing that Jack Lundin will now formally step into the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, following the Board of Directors’ agreement. Additionally, Mr. Lundin is set to join the Board on January 1, 2024. As part of the transition, Mr. Rockandel will continue as a member of the Board of Directors until December 31, 2023, as previously announced.
Lundin Mining operates as a diversified Canadian base metals mining company with active operations and ongoing projects in various countries focused on copper, zinc, gold, and nickel production.
Expressing his gratitude, Jack Lundin, President and CEO, remarked, “I would like to thank Peter and my fellow colleagues for allowing such a smooth transition to take place. I look forward to building off the significant progress that has been made during Peter’s tenure with the Company.”
