E&P Financial Group Appoints its new Chief Executive and Managing Director

E&P Financial Group has expedited the appointment of its new Chief Executive and Managing Director. Initially scheduled for the beginning of 2024, Ben Keeble’s assumption of this role will now begin this month, ahead of the previously planned timeline. Keeble, formerly the managing director of E&P Capital, the corporate and institutional arm of the firm, will succeed Peter Anderson, who served for four years and played a crucial role in addressing legacy issues within Dixon Advisory and the fund management business upon joining E&P in June 2019. The firm anticipates the completion of this transition by the end of 2023.

In an ASX statement, E&P disclosed Keeble’s early start and outlined his compensation, which is set at a total fixed remuneration of $800,000 per annum, along with short- and long-term incentives. David Evans, the non-executive chairman of E&P, expressed confidence in Keeble, citing his extensive 25 years of experience in financial services and comprehensive understanding of the company’s culture, operations, and the broader financial markets. Evans believes Keeble is well-equipped to lead E&P through its next growth phase.

As per the agreement, Anderson will remain employed until December 31, 2023, and subsequently continue in a casual capacity until June 30, 2024, providing support on various matters.

Keeble shared his anticipation for steering E&P into its next phase, acknowledging the transformation and simplification of the business model under Anderson’s leadership. He highlighted the company’s advantageous position to capitalize on the evolving macro trends within the wealth management sector.

E&P’s wealth division currently serves over 7,400 clients, managing funds totaling $23.4 billion in assets under advice.
