Tom Howard Named Aspire Technology Solutions’ CFO

Aspire Technology Solutions, a prominent IT managed service and cyber security provider based in Gateshead, UK, has named Tom Howard as its Chief Financial Officer, a newly established role. Howard will assume a crucial position on the Aspire board, where he will be responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy and contributing to its ongoing growth, encompassing both organic expansion and potential acquisitions.

Tom Howard is an experienced executive with a strong track record in the role of a commercial CFO, having served in both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporate entities. His professional journey includes significant roles such as Director at PwC and, more recently, Group Managing Director at the well-regarded marketing agency Reprise UK.

Aspire, established by CEO Chris Fraser 17 years ago, has undergone rapid growth and now operates from multiple offices across the UK, including locations in Gateshead, London, Leeds, and Stockton-on-Tees. With a dedicated team of approximately 250 employees, Aspire has built a solid reputation for providing advanced technology solutions across various domains, including cyber security, cloud services, managed solutions, connectivity, and unified communications.

In 2022, the company achieved a significant milestone by securing a substantial minority investment from private equity firm LDC. This transaction was a significant endorsement, valuing the company at an impressive £85 million, underscoring its growth potential. Aspire serves over 1,700 customers and consistently meets their diverse technology requirements.
