Must Visit Contemporary Art Galleries In Dallas, Texas, US

Dallas is home to all new and well-established artists and their galleries. Starting right from cultural colleges to excellent exhibition spaces, these are six must-visit contemporary art galleries in Dallas.

  1. Valley House Gallery & Sculpture Garden.
6616 Spring Valley Road, Dallas, Texas, USA.
Artist Donald Vogel and his wife bought a size-acre space in North Dallas in 1950. The only intention of buying this space was a cradle for the fine arts. Valley House was one of the first galleries in Texas which deal in and exhibit contemporary and modern art. In its early years, the gallery brought to Dallas by modernist masters such as Paul Cezanne and Claude Monet. Valley House established its name as a historical cultural institution in Dallas and Texas because of its amazing and quality exhibitions.
  2. Dallas Contemporary.
61 Glass St, Dallas, TX 75207, USA.
Dallas Contemporary aims for public engagement by organizing exhibitions of emerging and well-established, local and international contemporary artists. This non-profit, non-collecting space is located in a former warehouse and aims to show it in a way that totally amazes the viewer.
  3. Conduit Gallery.
1626 Hi Line Dr # C, Dallas, TX 75207, USA.
You can expect a celebration here as this year Conduit Gallery turns 20. This gallery is most popular for its sculpture, contemporary paintings, photography, and paperwork done by famous Texas artists. Though, the most interesting thing which you can miss about the gallery is its Project Room where lesser-knowns become known.
  4. LuminArtè.
1727 E Levee St, Dallas, TX 75207, USA.
LuminArte is located in the Dallas Design District and its an art and design gallery. This gallery represents more than 50 artists from media, style and technical domains covering 24 emerging and well-established countries.
  5. Talley Dunn Gallery.
5020 Tracy St, Dallas, TX 75205, USA
David Bates, the greatest contemporary artist from the city of Dallas represented by Talley Dunn Gallery in Dallas. He straddles two joint exhibitions in Dallas: his sculptures can be seen at Dallas’ Nasher Sculpture Center and his paintings are on showcase at the Museum of Modern Art in Fort Worth. This shows a sign of excellence to represent a top-notch name in Talley Dunn Gallery’s portfolio of artists.
  6. Dallas Museum of Art.
1717 N Harwood St, Dallas, TX 75201, USA.
Dallas Museum of Art was established in 1903 and is considered to be the greatest and most renowned place to see art in Texas. The gallery offers a wide range of permanent art to its visitors. You will find so many collections in showcase which clearly demonstrate an impressive grasp on international – and American – art.
