South Korea’s Largest Companies by market capitalization, 2024

As of March 12, 2024, Samsung Electronics is the most valuable company in South Korea, with a market cap of $372 billion. Following it are SK HYNIX INC ($89.87 billion) and LG ENERGY SOLUTION($71.56 billion). South Korea’s top five most valuable companies include some of the world’s most renowned brands: SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS (No. 4, $45.32 billion) and HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY (No. 5, $41.87 billion).

Overall, among South Korea’s top 10 largest companies by market capitalization, the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth positions are held by KIA CORPORATION, CELLTRION, POSCO HOLDINGS, LG CHEM, and NAVER CORPORATION.
