As of February 28, 2024, Jay Y. Lee was the wealthiest person in South Korea, with an estimated net worth of 11.2 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Cho Jung-ho (No. 2, $6.4 billion), Kwon Hyuk-bin(No. 3, $5.0 billion); and Mong-Koo Chung (No. 4, $4.8 billion).
Kim Beom-su is the fifth-richest person in South Korea, with a whopping $4.8 billion. Hong Ra-hee ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $4.3 billion, followed by Lee Boo-jin with $3.9 billion. Seo Jung-jin is placed 8th with a net worth of $3.8 billion. Euisun Chung ($3.6 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in South Korea.
