Savant Wealth Management Brings Jon W. Zindel to Serve as CFO

Savant Wealth Management has appointed Jon W. Zindel as its new Chief Financial Officer, marking a significant addition to its leadership team. Zindel brings with him a wealth of experience from his 12-year tenure at William Blair, where he held senior leadership roles spanning technology, human resources, real estate, and philanthropy. He also served as a partner and CFO at the Chicago-based firm.

In 2023, Savant achieved significant expansion by acquiring 11 RIA and tax and accounting firms, expanding its footprint to 40 offices across 15 states, and growing its assets under management (AUM) to nearly $26 billion. With approximately 65% ownership by employees, Zindel joins a team of 170 member-owners out of 538 employees nationwide.

Zindel highlighted Savant’s distinctive approach compared to traditional aggregators or financial buyers, noting the company’s focus on patient capital and strategic growth rather than short-term returns.

Zindel emphasized Savant’s commitment to delivering an unparalleled client experience, leveraging its deep bench of specialists and comprehensive range of services. This strategic approach, focused on stable and sustainable growth, positions Savant to maintain its leadership position in the industry over the long term.

Brent Brodeski, CEO of Savant, expressed his confidence in Zindel’s ability to drive the company’s long-term growth strategy, emphasizing the need for someone with extensive industry knowledge and problem-solving skills. The decision to bring Zindel on board followed a thorough nationwide search to find a seasoned industry leader capable of scaling Savant’s platform for growth.
