IGM Resins has announced the appointment of Boudewijn Morelissen as its new CEO, effective February 1, 2024. Morelissen takes over from Wilfrid Gambade, who has been at the helm of IGM Resins since 2021 and will now serve as Advisor to the Board of Directors.
The incoming CEO, Boudewijn Morelissen, brings a wealth of experience from his previous role at DLG, a prominent Danish conglomerate, where he served as CEO of Vilofoss. Morelissen holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
This strategic initiative encompassed various milestones, including the acquisition of Litian and a collaboration with Qualipoly to establish a comprehensive product and solutions portfolio in the UV curing sector. It also involved expediting the rollout of innovative solutions, intensifying efforts towards sustainability, and optimizing IGM Resins’ production capabilities, culminating in the completion of its cutting-edge production facility in China.
