Cognex CFO Resigns

Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX) has announced the resignation of Paul Todgham from his role as Senior Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer, effective March 15, 2024. Todgham will continue to serve as CFO until that date and will remain available to the company in a consulting capacity afterward. Cognex has initiated a search process to identify a new Chief Financial Officer.

Established in 1981, Cognex leads the machine vision industry. It has completed shipments of more than 4 million image-based products and generated over $10 billion in cumulative revenue. Headquartered in Natick, Massachusetts, USA, Cognex maintains a global presence with offices and distributors across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Rob Willett, Cognex’s President and Chief Executive Officer, expressed appreciation for Todgham’s contributions during his four-year tenure. Willett acknowledged Todgham’s pivotal role in enhancing Cognex’s planning and budgeting processes and overseeing investments in the company’s CRM platform. He conveyed best wishes for Todgham’s future endeavors.

Reflecting on his time at Cognex, Paul Todgham expressed pride in the achievements and gratitude for collaborating with a talented and dedicated team. He highlighted the privilege of being part of Cognex’s journey and expressed optimism for the company’s ongoing success.
