Researchers detailed the areas in the country with the most mansions in this latest article by CEOWorld Magazine. When compared to the entire United States, readers will find the mega-homes descriptors towering over the abovementioned figures describing the country’s mansion landscape. In terms of the methodology used in writing this article, CEOWorld Magazine’s researchers reviewed housing information from the United States Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates. They initially identified the cities, towns, and unincorporated sites with at least 1,000 residents.

CEOWorld Magazine’s researchers also looked at the very affluent places where at least half of the owner-occupied mega-homes have an approximated price of over US$2 million. This value is the maximum cost the Census Bureau gauged. Then, CEOWorld Magazine’s researchers utilized the Census Bureau information to list the 35 very rich locations where the biggest share of owner-occupied houses has nine or more rooms, which is the maximum number the census tracked.

The median yearly household salary of the residents in these mega-homes is estimated to be US$250,000 or more, which is greater than the United States’ figure, which is US$69,021.

Here are the places in the United States with the most mega-homes, arranged from the greatest to the least number of mansions:

  1. Cherry Hills Village, Colorado
