As of December 04, 2023, Elon Musk has a net worth of US$244.4 billion, making him the wealthiest person in the automotive industry. Stefan Quandt follows in second place with $24.2 billion, while Robin Zeng ranks third with $23.6 billion, and Susanne Klatten comes in fourth with $23.4 billion.

The fifth and sixth spots on the list are occupied by Eric Li, whose net worth is $15.2 billion, and Wang Chuanfu, whose net worth is $14.9 billion. Wei Jianjun is placed 7th with a net worth of $12.7 billion. Lu Xiangyang ($12.2 billion) occupied the 8th position among the wealthiest people in the automotive industry, followed by Shahid Khan (No. 9) with $11.6 billion and Huang Shilin (No. 10, $10.9 billion).
