New CEO and CFO for Excelitas Technologies

Excelitas Technologies has officially announced the appointment of Ron Keating as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and Ben Stas as the Chief Financial Officer. Both Mr. Keating and Mr. Stas are taking on these roles following the retirements of former CEO David Nislick and former CFO Jim Rao.

Excelitas Technologies® is a prominent industrial technology manufacturer. The Excelitas team comprises over 7,500 professionals working across North America, Europe, and Asia to cater to customers globally.

Ben Stas, who previously worked alongside Keating at Evoqua as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, expressed similar sentiments. Both Keating and Stas have a history of collaborating at Kennametal before their tenure at Evoqua.

In their new roles, Keating and Stas have committed to building on Excelitas’ strengths, delivering outstanding value to customers, and maintaining the company’s core values and dedication to employee well-being and safety. They plan to visit many of Excelitas’ locations over the next few weeks and months.

The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation to David Nislick and Jim Rao for their unwavering leadership, acknowledging that under their guidance, Excelitas evolved into a prominent industrial technology firm.

Ron Keating, who has served as President and CEO of Evoqua Water Technologies for the past nine years and played a key role in its public offering in 2017, shared his enthusiasm.
