Antolin’s Board Approves the Appointment of Cristina Blanco Santo as the new CEO
Antolin’s Board of Directors has unanimously approved the appointment of Cristina Blanco Santo Tomas as the new CEO of the company. Blanco will lead the company’s transformation efforts to establish itself as a prominent provider of technological solutions for automotive interiors in the emerging era of electric mobility, as announced in a press release on October 11.
The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation to Ramon Sotomayor Jauregui for his dedication and contributions during his tenure as Antolin’s Chief Executive Officer.
Cristina Blanco will be responsible for expediting the ongoing transformation plan aimed at positioning the company as a leading supplier. This plan, which Cristina Blanco has actively contributed to as Antolin’s Chief Financial Officer and a member of its Executive Committee, is designed to enhance the value of its existing business while fostering a sustainable, long-term growth project.
With over 22 years as a part of the Antolin team, Cristina Blanco has played a direct role in establishing the company as one of the world’s largest suppliers of automobile interiors. Her journey with Antolin began in 2001 within the finance team, where she held various roles, including the head of the Financial Planning and Treasury Department. She has served as the Chief Financial Officer since 2016.
Cristina Blanco holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from UNED, completed the Executive Program at Esade, and is also a lecturer in MBA programs at the University of Valladolid and IE Business School.
