Jitendra Attra is the new CFO of SBI General Insurance

SBI General Insurance has announced the appointment of Jitendra Attra as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect. Before taking up this role, Attra served as the CFO and Executive Vice President at Zuno General Insurance. His professional journey also includes significant roles at organizations such as Deloitte Haskins & Sells, SBI Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Munich Re.

Rikhil Shah, who recently joined Bharti AXA Life Insurance, will be succeeded by Jitendra Attra in this position. As the CFO, Attra’s responsibilities encompass overseeing the company’s financial operations, formulating and implementing policies, establishing robust internal controls, and managing various financial aspects, including accounting, taxation, budgeting, financial planning, MIS (Management Information Systems), and capital planning.

Established in 2009, SBI General Insurance has grown its footprint to encompass 141 branches throughout India, serving a vast customer base of over 34 crore individuals.
