How To Become A Resident Of Taiwan
Having a residency permit in any country is like acquiring a golden ticket that lets you avail yourself of various rights and benefits. However, every nation grants a permanent residency card to foreigners only if they are willing to participate in the welfare of the province. Thus, the requirements and other procedures slightly differ from country to country.
If you plan to move to a nation with lower living costs, great food, an excellent medical and education system, a higher standard of living, and greater technology, then Taiwan is one of the best choices. Although the nation is a small independent island of ROC (Republic of China) in East Asia, it offers tremendous benefits for all immigrants, which makes it stand out from the rest.
Types Of Residency Visa
From a pleasing subtropical climate, splendid natural habitat, and friendly atmosphere, to heavenly places, Taiwan is a great place to live in. However, If you are interested in acquiring residency permits in the country, then there are a few protocols to follow. For starters, applicants have to reside in the country for five consecutive years and approximately 183 days annually to obtain their residency card. Apart from this, a foreigner can get various residency visas to enter Taiwan and then appeal for a residency permit only after living for several interrupted years.
