    Made on a budget of $365 million, “Avengers” Age of Ultron” is a masterpiece and one of the most expensive films to be ever made. Apart from the power-packed storyline, what sets the film apart is its special effects. 
  4. Avengers Endgame

    Year of Release: 2019
    Avengers Endgame was one of the anticipated movies of 2019, and it didn’t disappoint. The sequel to Infinity War was awaited by fans all across the globe and made collections close to $2.8 billion in 11 days. 
  5. Avengers Infinity War

    Year of Release: 2018
    Avengers Infinity War featured an ensemble cast of noteworthy actors and was backed by a budget of $318 million. While the movie sure had a gripping storyline, all the fight scenes were done with the help of computer graphics, which added to the cost. The worldwide gross of the film was around $2 billion.

    It is yet another movie from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise to feature on the list. Touted as one of the colossal hits of the Disney studio, the movie was praised for its direction, performances, and special effects.

  8. Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince

    We all have been a fan of the Harry Potter movie franchises. But did you know that the sixth installment in the series had a massive production budget of $250 million? With a range of mind-boggling special effects and a tight-gripping storyline, it is not hard to see why audiences all around the globe fell in love with the movie.

    One of the last movies to star Tobey Maguire as Spiderman, the movie was made on a budget of $258 million. The film scored well at the box office, just like its predecessors, and is still considered one of the biggest hits of the lead star. 
  10. Tangled

    Year of Release: 2010
    The film endured nearly a decade of multiple unsuccessful attempts, with each endeavor reaching advanced stages before being abandoned and restarted. A significant portion of the budget was allocated to redesigning previous versions of the Rapunzel project, which dated back to 2000 but never actualized. Although Tangled provided entertaining content, it didn’t leave a lasting impression, failing to justify its colossal Budget. Despite this, the film managed to generate profits upon its release, leaving many people astonished by the substantial financial investments.
