5 Life-Hacks For a Better Life

Firm handshake as a sign of trust

Personal prosperity has become a goal in a society where most biological needs have been taken care of. Paying attention to what we can do to improve our lives can also help us improve society. Besides, society is comprised of ordinary people, each one of whom gives their fights to survive and be happy. Today, I will discuss how this is possible through 5 simple life hacks.

  1. Our scars are reminders of our strength
Every battle demands a sacrifice. As we move forward in life, it is impossible to avoid losses. It may be scars on our bodies or, unfortunately, scars on our souls. The scars are the leftovers from the battles we had to fight to survive. Thinking that the scars make us ugly, unwanted, or poorer is a misconception of their contribution. Scars are only left to remind us how well we have defended ourselves or others. They are proof of how great we have performed spiritually, finding all of our strength and courage to overcome the difficulties that appeared. From a car accident to a financial disaster, things will always come with a price, and we should be happy to pay that.
  2. A small step for you, a big step for humanity
Every effort we make is vital. Never underestimate your contribution to your family, your friends, or even to the whole of society. One could reverse the saying and suggest that a big step for you is a small step for humanity. However, this only attempts to make us feel small and insignificant. Always think of yourself as a restless spirit that allows you to give your heart for common prosperity. Being able to contribute is crucial to feeling useful. Once we feel useful, we feel accepted, needed, and wanted by others. Therefore, it is good to understand that we play our role in the common good and that society will likely embrace us for this contribution.
  3. Be happy now
We often wait for things to get better, but as it turns out, life is complicated. Learning to be happy right now is important so that we do not run out of time. Thousands of people watch their lives pass them by just because they have been expecting something else; a little extra. Being happy is associated with being grateful. Being grateful means that you are focused on the positive things surrounding your life and ready to embrace them. When this does not happen, you may have a thousand reasons to be happy and yet not be able to enjoy any single aspect of the positivity that has been offered to you.
  4. Trust
People who believe in God are often more peaceful and stress-free. Of course, there is nothing magical about it, and not everyone who is religious conceives God in the same way. The key here is to feel loved. Those who share a deep connection to God, nature, or the universe feel more secure. Common people who believe in God suggest that they trust his plan for them. They claim He loves them and wants them to be happy and safe. As long as they have a superpower to protect them, they have every reason to live a peaceful life and show trust in everything that appears their way. Obstacles do not have the form of troubles but form of useful lessons that will help them evolve.
  5. We are not responsible for other people’s misery
Let us rephrase this saying and suggest that everyone should be held responsible for the outcome of their own lives. Just like we should not blame others for any negativity in our lives, we should expect them to respect our boundaries and not impose their manipulative tendencies on us. Guilt is the lowest spiritual state one can reach. Apart from pain, grief, shame, and jealousy, guilt can literally destroy people’s happiness.
