Luxury Travel: Celebrity Secrets for Travelling in Style

St. Barths St. Barts

If given a chance to go on a vacation with a celebrity of choice, who would be your pick, and what destination would you pick? Being a celebrity might be hard sometimes, but when it comes to traveling in style, celebrities have it all figured out.

From performance tours to business meetings to social functions, celebrities are always on a globetrotting spree. It’s easy to assume they never have a dull moment of their lives.

Away from work, they get to appease their sanity by vacationing in the most breathtaking places around the world.

Where Do Celebrities Go on Vacation?

St. Barts

This glamourous Caribbean Island boasts of a plethora of unique sensations. From its flashy nightlife, exquisite restaurants, to the popular sunbathing at its famous 22 sand beaches, this holiday destination is best described as a ‘little heaven on earth.’ If you are lucky, you might get to rub shoulders with renowned celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Beyonce, Jay Z, Martha Stewart, or Jessica Alba who dock their yachts at the Islands harbor.

If you need a break from the winter, you have to book six months prior, not unless you are Leonardo DiCaprio or Rihanna.

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

In the Swahili language, the word ‘bora’ means excellent. If this meaning is anything to go by, then I suppose you can easily guess what would render a place to be ‘double excellent.’

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Located in the Pacific Ocean, this beautiful volcanic island is famous for its over the water bungalows. It is a frequent vacation hotspot for celebrities like Demi Lovato, Justin Beiber, Nicole Kidman, and the Kardashians.

Besides its rich history, Bora Bora is an excellent place for snorkeling and canoeing. If you want to experience the island’s raw culture, you might consider using a two-seater buggy or a bicycle to move around. You will get to see much, meet the exotic French Polynesians, and have a vacation experience worth writing home about.

Lake Como, Italy

The dramatic Lake Como is one of the most famous celebrity vacation points. If you didn’t know, George and Amal Clooney own home by its shores. But they are not the only celebrities who have experienced this beautiful lakeside escape. The Obamas, Jenifer Aniston, Liam Payne, and Mark Twain join in the list of celebrities who have been spotted soaking in the breathtaking surroundings of this Italian go-to vacation destination.

Besides their exceptional tastes in vacation destinations, celebrities also have a superior taste when it comes to traveling. Just as their status demands, they go for the very best.

How Do Celebrities Travel?

A celebrity with a flight to catch gets on a plane and flies. It’s that simple. But how? Might you ask?

private executive jets

Recently Chrissy Teigen gave her twitter fans a heads up on how celebrities travel. Unlike ordinary people, they have their flight terminals where they access security privately and get to their planes in a car. Talk about the perks of being a celebrity.

To some celebrities, sitting in a crowded coach with commoners is something unfathomable — celebrities like Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods. Jay Z and Beyonce can only bargain for the privacy, comfort, and luxury offered by only certain types of private executive jets. And they don’t just pay to travel in these jets; they own them!

Dos and Don’ts as a Celebrity in an Airport

Do: Stay focused

If you are not using a private jet, then it’s likely that you’ll have run-ins with a section of your fans. Flashing a polite smile and going about your business is the most you can do.

Don’t: Yield to the “I’m a celebrity” pressure, which will compel you to shake hands and take selfies even if you don’t feel like it. Set your boundaries and hold your horses,

Do: Dress nicely. You are a celebrity- a subject to a lot of unsolicited advice and criticism. Unless you want a picture with you in flip flops and a rugged white vest at the front of every popular newspaper, be sure to dress impeccably.

Don’t: Overdress or Underdress. Again, being a celebrity comes at the cost of living in the limelight. Sometimes you may be in the mood for a tank top and a booty short or feel like flaunting your latest Versace official outfit. The world is watching. Tone it down and be your best at all times, even when you don’t feel like it. You are paid for it. So own it.

One unwritten law in the celebrity constitution is: “You’ve got to have a great taste in everything; women, men, fashion, holiday destinations, and travel.” Celebrities create and determine popular culture, and this explains why their lives are everyone’s business. But even before you climb up the ladder and venture into the coveted celebrity utopia, you can still, in your unique way, have the best of life. When your celebrity title comes knocking (if you are lucky), at least you will know where to go for vacations and how to travel. Until then…
