The library was conceived and completed by American Architecture James Gamble Rogers in 1913 and is intricately detailed inside and out with gargoyles and a larger number of stained-glass windowpanes. It still feels like time traveling: It’s a tremendous collection of ancient manuscripts, maps and historic books from the Gutenberg Bible. Yale University has been ranked No. 19 in the world in the Top 500 Global Universities, according to the CEOWORLD magazine University Ranking 2019.
