Top 75 CEOs Of China, 2018

The China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) boss Dai Houliang, has topped the annual ranking of China’s top CEOs published by the CEOWORLD magazine. PetroChina’s Wang Yilin and China Merchants Bank’s Huiyu Tian rounded out the top three. CEOWORLD magazine has released the 2018 rankings of Best CEOs In The World, taking into account company’s performance, market shares, market capitalization, net-profit, CEO’s track-record; brand’s newsworthiness, and growth rate.

Ma Huateng, chairman and CEO of Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings, ranks 94th on the list, followed by Alibaba CEO Daniel Zhang Yong (No. 70), who will also become chairman next year when Alibaba founder Jack Ma will step down from the company’s chairmanship.

Wang Gaofei (No. 511), the 40-year-old CEO of Chinese social media site Weibo, is the youngest on the list, while 64-year-old Dong Mingzhu (No. 279), chairwoman and president of Gree Electric Appliances Inc, is the most senior. The rankings include CEOs, presidents, general managers, and bank presidents, depending on the company structure.
