Todd Bouman Takes the Helm as CEO of Proto Inc.

Proto Inc., a pioneer in hologram and spatial computing technologies, has announced Todd Bouman as its new Chief Executive Officer. Bouman brings a wealth of experience in the electronics sector, having previously served as President, CEO, and Chair of Sharp/NEC Display Solutions, Americas. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening the company’s position in the global electronics and software display market, driving substantial financial growth. Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Bouman highlighted Proto’s position as an industry leader poised to transform digital interactions. His career also includes leadership roles at Samsung and HP, where he spearheaded product growth initiatives and brand expansion. At Samsung, he contributed to significant advancements in both consumer and commercial markets, while at HP, he played a crucial role in the development of ultralight notebook products.
Reflecting on the leadership transition, Nussbaum emphasized the deep personal connection he has with Proto, describing the company as something he had nurtured from the ground up. He noted that selecting a new leader was a decision he approached with great care, requiring absolute confidence in the individual’s experience and ability to elevate his vision. He expressed certainty that Bouman was the right person to take Proto to the next level.
