Aravind Srinivas, born in Chennai, co-founded Perplexity AI, an advanced AI-driven search engine backed by investors such as Jeff Bezos. Established in 2022 alongside Andy Konwinski, Denis Yarats, and Johnny Ho, Perplexity AI has quickly gained prominence. A distinguished alumnus of IIT Madras, Srinivas earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and has worked as a research intern at OpenAI, followed by positions at Google and DeepMind.
