Josiah Grauso: Building Success with Purpose and Leadership

Josiah Grauso

In the world of financial services, where trust and expertise reign supreme, Josiah Grauso stands out as a leader who combines both with an unwavering commitment to his clients and community. With nearly two decades of experience, Josiah has built a career defined by his ability to simplify complex financial concepts, foster meaningful relationships, and empower others to achieve financial security. His success story is one of perseverance, faith, and a dedication to making a positive impact.

Now serving as Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor at ASC Financial Group, Josiah’s journey to success is deeply rooted in his upbringing, values, and the lessons learned from his father. From humble beginnings to becoming a respected figure in the financial industry, his story offers inspiration and insight into what it means to lead with purpose.

A Journey Rooted in Family and Hard Work

Growing up in Northwest New Jersey, Josiah Grauso’s childhood was filled with lessons in discipline, perseverance, and ambition. As one of five siblings, Josiah’s early years were shaped by a strong family dynamic and a father who led by example. His father’s career transition from insurance salesman to founder of ASC Financial Group was pivotal in inspiring Josiah’s own journey into financial services.

“Watching my father create something meaningful and impactful showed me the power of hard work and vision,” Josiah reflects. “It instilled in me a desire to help others achieve security and peace of mind, especially in areas as critical as their financial future.”

This foundation set Josiah on a path to success that would span nearly two decades, marked by unwavering dedication to his clients and community.

The Path to Leadership in Financial Services

Josiah began his professional career as a teller at PNC Bank in 2005, quickly advancing to the role of Financial Consultant. But it wasn’t long before he joined his father’s company, ASC Financial Group, in 2007. Over the years, Josiah climbed the ranks to become Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor.

In this role, he specializes in retirement planning, income diversification, and investment strategies. He holds several certifications, including the Series 65 license and the Certified Senior Advisor designation. These credentials reflect his deep expertise and commitment to staying ahead in an ever-evolving industry.

“Financial planning is not just about numbers,” Josiah explains. “It’s about understanding people’s hopes, fears, and dreams. It’s about being a partner they can trust.”

Josiah’s leadership at ASC Financial has been instrumental in its growth, helping the firm expand its reach while maintaining a client-first approach.

Creating Impact Through Education

One of Josiah’s most notable contributions to the financial community is his dedication to education. He regularly hosts Social Security workshops and retirement-focused events aimed at equipping attendees with practical tools to make informed decisions. These workshops reflect his belief in empowering others through knowledge.

“Education is the cornerstone of confidence,” Josiah says. “When clients understand their options, they feel more secure about their future. That’s what we strive for every day.”

In addition to his workshops, Josiah is featured on our TV show Wealth After Work, which provides valuable education to the community. He was also a part of our radio show in 2016; however, the radio show is no longer in production. Wealth After Work is carried by TV stations such as “16 WNEP ABC,” “69 WFMZ,” “Fox 56 WOLF,” SEN, and “Blue Ridge.”

Through these initiatives, Josiah has become a trusted voice in the financial services industry, known for his approachable style and ability to simplify complex topics. His impact goes beyond transactions, fostering relationships built on trust and transparency.

Balancing Career, Family, and Community

While Josiah’s professional accomplishments are impressive, he places equal importance on his roles as a husband, father, and community member. Living in the picturesque Pocono Mountains with his wife, Sarah, and their four children, Josiah cherishes family time and outdoor activities.

“Success to me isn’t just about career achievements,” Josiah shares. “It’s about creating a life that’s rich in relationships, experiences, and purpose.”

In addition to his family commitments, Josiah is deeply involved in his church, Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, where he volunteers two nights a week at its Cold Weather Shelter during the winter months. His dedication to giving back is a testament to his values of faith and service.

Overcoming Challenges with Resilience

Josiah’s career hasn’t been without its challenges. Navigating the financial crash of 2008 early in his career left a lasting impression on him.

“Seeing how the crash devastated families’ retirement dreams was a turning point for me,” Josiah recalls. “It made me even more committed to creating safe, sustainable financial strategies for my clients.”

This experience shaped Josiah’s approach to risk management, leading him to focus on strategies that provide clients with peace of mind and security, regardless of market conditions.

Inspiring Others Through Leadership

As a leader, Josiah emphasizes the importance of integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning. He fosters a team environment at ASC Financial that prioritizes innovation and client satisfaction.

“Leadership is about empowering others,” he notes. “Whether it’s my team, my clients, or my family, I strive to lead by example and inspire those around me to reach their full potential.”

Josiah’s leadership style is rooted in his belief that success is not a solo endeavor but a collective effort. He encourages his team to stay connected with industry trends, attend professional conferences, and collaborate on strategies that deliver the best results for clients.

With nearly 20 years of experience under his belt, Josiah remains as passionate about his work as ever. His goals for the future include expanding ASC Financial’s reach, helping more families achieve financial stability, and continuing to serve his community through education and volunteerism.

“Every day is an opportunity to make a difference,” Josiah says. “Whether it’s guiding a client through a complex financial decision or volunteering at the shelter, I want to leave a positive impact wherever I go.”

Josiah Grauso’s story is one of perseverance, purpose, and leadership. From his early days inspired by his father to his current role as a respected financial advisor and community leader, Josiah embodies the qualities of a true success story. His dedication to his clients, family, and faith serves as a powerful reminder that success is not just about what you achieve but how you uplift others along the way.
