Deepinder Goyal’s New Wellness Venture Puts Health in Focus
Zomato co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has embarked on a new initiative, launching a wellness-focused startup called “Continue.” Though still in its early stages and largely under wraps, the venture aims to redefine health tracking with an emphasis on mental well-being. Incorporated in April 2023 under the name Upslope Advisors Pvt Ltd, official filings have listed Goyal as the Director, accompanied by two Zomato employees, Akriti Mehta and Simrandeep Singh, as Additional Directors.
This new project aligns with Goyal’s increasing interest in promoting longevity, particularly through mental and physical wellness solutions. While specifics about the platform’s offerings remain under wraps, it is speculated that the service will cover key areas such as nutrition, sleep monitoring, and preventive healthcare. Industry insiders expect that it could evolve into a comprehensive solution integrating both mental and physical health components.
Goyal’s passion for the health-tech industry isn’t new; he has previously invested in Ultrahuman, a company that develops wearable technology to monitor sleep, heart rate, and other essential health indicators. His personal journey towards better health, including a notable weight loss of 33 pounds over four years, further underscores his commitment to wellness.
While Goyal is deeply involved in the development of Continue, Zomato has made it clear that this new venture is an independent project. The food delivery giant, which manages four core businesses—food delivery, Blinkit (grocery delivery), Hyperpure (restaurant supplies), and event services—continues to focus on its current operations without any connection to Continue.
