Henrik Brandt Named CFO of RES, Bringing Extensive Renewable Energy Experience

RES has announced the appointment of Henrik Brandt as its new Chief Financial Officer, signaling a strategic move to bolster its leadership team. Brandt joins RES from Telco InfraCo (TDC NET), where he held the position of Executive Vice President and CFO.

The announcement comes on the heels of RES’ recent acquisition of Ingeteam’s Service division, solidifying its assets under management at approximately 41GW across 23 countries. With a robust development pipeline, RES aims to bring 22GW of new capacity online in the next five years, furthering its commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Eduardo Medina, CEO of RES, expressed his enthusiasm for Brandt’s appointment, highlighting his strong industry background and global financial expertise. He emphasized Brandt’s pivotal role in advancing RES’ offerings across development, construction, services, and digital solutions to customers.

Brandt’s extensive background includes over 15 years with Vestas, where he held various senior global roles, culminating in his tenure as Senior Vice President and CFO for Southern Europe, MENA, and LatAm. His profound experience in business transformation within the renewable energy sector positions him well to support RES’ ambitious growth plans.

Brandt himself echoed excitement about joining RES, recognizing the company’s significant contribution to the energy transition as the world’s largest independent renewable energy company. He pledged to leverage his experience and expertise to reinforce RES’ market position and enhance customer support.
