David Perez Appointed CFO of Rubix Foods, Succeeding Longtime Executive Bill Block

Rubix Foods has named David Perez as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding the esteemed Bill Block, who transitions to the role of Chief Support Officer within the company. Perez brings a wealth of financial expertise to his new position, having served as a financial consultant to Rubix Foods for the past year. Prior to his appointment as CFO, Perez held leadership roles, such as CFO and CIO at Red Collar Pet Foods and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at SVP Worldwide, LLC.

Bill Block, a member of the founding family of Rubix Foods and its CFO for nearly 33 years, played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution from its dairy origins to its current status as a prominent player in the functional ingredient market. Andy Block, Chief Executive Officer of Rubix Foods, expressed gratitude for Bill’s contributions and welcomed David Perez, highlighting his comprehensive understanding of the business and seamless transition alongside Bill.

Under Perez’s leadership, Rubix Foods is poised to continue its trajectory of growth and innovation. The company underwent a significant transformation in October 2021, rebranding from Darifair to Rubix Foods to reflect its expanded offerings beyond dairy products. Additionally, in September 2022, Rubix Foods inaugurated its state-of-the-art 50,000-square-foot innovation center in Jacksonville, Fla.
