SNB Brings Riyad Bank President and CEO Tareq Al Sadhan to Assume CEO Role
The Saudi National Bank (SNB), the leading financial institution in the Kingdom, has unveiled Tareq Al Sadhan as its incoming Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, as disclosed to Tadawul. Al Sadhan steps into the role, succeeding Talal Al Khereiji, who is relinquishing his position due to personal reasons, effective April 30.
Al Sadhan brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the President and CEO of Riyad Bank from April 2019 to January 2024. His illustrious career also includes tenure as the acting Director General for the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, as well as serving as the Deputy Governor for Supervision at the Saudi Central Bank Sama.
Beyond his contributions to the banking sector, Al Sadhan’s expertise extends to his current roles as a member of the Public Investment Fund (PIF)’s audit committee and as a member of Mastercard’s advisory board.
The appointment of Al Sadhan underscores SNB’s commitment to leadership excellence and strategic vision. With his extensive industry knowledge and proven track record, Al Sadhan is poised to steer SNB towards continued growth and innovation in the dynamic financial landscape of Saudi Arabia.
