In a resurfaced clip of an interview with Simi Garewal, Nita Ambani, wife of centibillionaire Mukesh Ambani, revealed details of her early career. She disclosed that she continued working after marrying Mukesh, who is now the richest person in Asia.

Nita shared that she commenced her professional journey as a teacher at Sunflower Nursery shortly after marrying Mukesh in 1985, following a courtship of three weeks. Despite the modest salary, she expressed satisfaction with her work, even though she mentioned that people used to mock her at the time.

The clip from Garewal’s show, “Rendezvous with Simi Garewal,” has garnered over 3.3 million views on Instagram since its reposting. Its resurgence coincided with the extravagant pre-wedding celebrations hosted by the Ambanis for their son Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The three-day event saw attendance from prominent figures such as Microsoft Founder Bill Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, singer Rihanna, and former White House advisor Ivanka Trump, among others.
