Gurit Holding AG (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) has recently announced key appointments to its leadership team. Dr. Javier Perez Freije has been appointed as the incoming Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Javier Perez Freije will assume the role of CFO at Gurit Holding AG effective May 1, 2024. Karen Glauser will take on the role of Group Head of Human Resources. Karen Glauser will commence her role on February 1, 2024.
With a background in finance and a wealth of experience spanning various industries, Javier’s expertise will be a valuable asset to the company. Prior to joining Gurit Holding AG, he held positions at the Mikron Group, Netstal Maschinen AG, and Autoneum. Javier, a Spanish national, holds a Master of Business Administration and Engineering from the University of Siegen and a PhD from the University of St. Gallen.
Bringing with her a breadth of experience from companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and F. Hofmann La Roche AG, Karen’s expertise in human resources will play a vital role in the company’s continued growth. Karen, who holds dual citizenship in Switzerland and New Zealand, graduated with a Master of Science from HEC Paris.
