HomeStart Brings Simon Olifent from Westpac to Serve as CFO
HomeStart has appointed Simon Olifent for the role of Chief Financial Officer. With a career spanning over 25 years in high-level banking and business services roles, Olifent brings invaluable expertise to his new position.
Olifent joins HomeStart after a distinguished 13-year tenure at Westpac, where he held various senior finance roles, culminating in a four-year term as Finance Director. Prior to his time at Westpac, Olifent served as a Senior Manager of Audit and Transaction Services at PwC, working across Sydney and Adelaide.
Olifent, who holds a degree in commerce from the University of Adelaide and has a background in chartered accountancy, is well-equipped to lead HomeStart’s financial strategies forward.
Andrew Mills, CEO of HomeStart, emphasized the significance of Olifent’s experience in driving the organization’s mission to enhance its home lending products for the benefit of the South Australian government and its communities.
