Netta Jagpal Named InMed Pharmaceuticals CFO

InMed Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: INM) has appointed Netta Jagpal as its new Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective February 20, 2024, marking a significant change in its executive leadership. Jagpal, a seasoned financial expert with over two decades of experience primarily in the biotech sector, will be taking over from Jonathan Tegge, who served as Interim CFO.

Prior to joining InMed, Jagpal held key positions at D-Wave Systems Inc. (NYSE: QBTS), Zymeworks Inc. (NYSE: NASDAQ: ZYME), and Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANP), as well as experience at Ernst & Young.

Jagpal is a Chartered Professional Accountant accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University.

InMed expressed appreciation for Mr. Tegge’s contributions and anticipates his continued involvement with the organization.

Eric A. Adams, President and CEO of InMed, expressed confidence in Jagpal’s abilities, highlighting her extensive background in finance and accounting leadership roles, which he believes will be instrumental in driving the company’s pharmaceutical drug development and commercial endeavors forward.
