Nordic Aqua Partners Brings Former Edda Wind CFO Tom Johan Austrheim to its Team
According to an announcement to the Oslo Stock Exchange, Nordic Aqua Partners, a salmon farming enterprise supported by Nutreco, has named Tom Johan Austrheim as its new Chief Financial Officer. Austrheim is set to succeed Hjalti Hvitklett later this year, with Hvitklett transitioning into the position of Finance Director.
Nordic Aqua Partners anticipates completing its inaugural salmon harvest at the land-based facility in Ningbo, China, by March. The company has ambitious targets, aiming to achieve 20,000 metric tons by 2028, with the possibility of expanding to 50,000 metric tons at the same location.
Austrheim, previously the CFO of Edda Wind, a Norwegian offshore wind energy company, will play a pivotal role in fortifying the CFO role as part of the company’s overarching medium and long-term growth strategy.
