Plantforce Appoints Charles Murphy to Serve as CFO

Charles Murphy has recently assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at Plantforce, contributing a wealth of experience and enhancing the depth of the company’s senior management team. Boasting over two decades of experience, he brings a fresh perspective to Plantforce’s diverse management team, led by CEO Claire Trott.

With a background in the construction sector, Murphy is expected to play a crucial role in executing the Tier 1 plant hire firm’s ongoing growth strategy. Murphy, who previously served as Finance Director for Space Engineering and later as Divisional Finance Director for Integral, specializing in mechanical and electrical contracting and construction, takes over from the outgoing David Searle.

Plantforce, already established as a Tier 1 supplier for major construction projects in Europe, including HS2 and Hinkley Point C, anticipates continued growth. This strategic appointment ensures the company’s financial operations remain robust, particularly with recent approvals of supplier deals with prominent contractors.
